19 November –
U3A Writing group including one of our Solo members Dot Garrett will be having a presentation of the book that the group have just written called ‘Lucky Escapes’. It will be held at Letter R US (near Martellos) from 10.30 to 13.00. It’s a great read and a super Christmas present, and all profits go to Make a Smile. You may well get a free glass of Cava and a cake – so who could resist. Just in case you can’t make this but still wish to purchase a book contact Dot at firstname.lastname@example.org
25 November –
Sunday Lunch which will be at La Cumbre Restaurant – contact Carolyn at email@example.com You need to let her know promptly as it is next Sunday and she will need to confirm places very soon.
27 November –
The U3A Drama group will be presenting Red Riding Hood at La Senietta starting at 18.00. Some of the Solo’s thought it would be nice to meet at 17.30 in foyer and watch the show and support the drama group. After this we will then go on to Anclamar for an after show drink and catch up with those who just went for the normal Sundowner drink.
28 November –
Curry evening – Irene Mowl suggested a Curry evening, and the date will be 28 November at the Royal Buddha in Moraira, 19.00 for 19.30.

2 December –
Beach Patrol – our next beach patrol will be at 10.30 we will meet at the Duck Pond/Lagoon in Moraira. You will need a grabber to pick the rubbish up with and protective gloves. I will get the rubbish bags. We plan to finish at Algas café with brunch or just coffee for those that do not wish to eat. – so please email me to let me know if you will be joining us. email@example.com

Christmas Day lunch this year will be at El Chamizo Restaurant in Moraira overlooking the sea front.
Gilly checked out the cost and it’s approx €36 as of yet though the details of the menu choices have not been issued.

New Year’s Eve our SoloAmigos curry. Venue yet to be confirmed. Dot is taking bookings for this so contact her at email@example.com .
The final date for booking is Friday 21 December. After the dinner we will go to the front to watch fireworks and see in the new year with a glass or two of Cava.
How can we support each other?
The subject was raised about being single people how we could support each other in times of need such as Illness and need. It was agreed that it is quite a big and important subject that will require a dedicated meeting and not be tagged on to our Solo’s monthly meetings. So, in the New Year a date will be set
