We had a good turnout for lunch at La Cumbre restaurant, Cumbre del Sol in Benitachell, last Sunday 25th November.
Sunny weather, good food, sea views… what more could we have wanted? A very pleasant afternoon in good company was therefore had by all.
It was especially enjoyable for Robert, of course, as he was the only chap in attendance among a dozen ladies. The La Cumbre staff thought this was admirable and highly amusing, and that Robert must surely possess some secret allure for the female species.
Alas, only Robert knew the truth but he wasn’t letting on and just quietly ingested enough vino tinto to convince himself that they were right…
Courtesy of Sheran we have two photos of the event to display at the time of going to press, as other members may still be working out how to send them from their mobile phones. So do get in touch if you have some more to share, folks. (Technical support available!).
Finally, thanks must go to this month’s organiser, Carolyn, who ensured that everything went to plan.
So much so, that she may have found herself a niche as our regular Sunday lunch monitor (Shhhh… don’t tell her yet, though!).
See you at the next one!
